The Toulouse Bar Association wanted to have digital tools aligned with their expertise in the legal field. Our agency developed a website for both the general public and legal professionals, as well as a mobile application available on iOS and Android, designed to support lawyers in their daily activities.

A Bar Association committed to Toulouse’s community
The Toulouse Bar Association, one of the oldest in France, was established several centuries ago. It embodies a long-standing tradition of defending rights and freedoms. Since its creation, it has distinguished itself through its commitment to justice and the crucial role played by its members in the development of law. Today, the Bar Association brings together more than 1,600 lawyers, all dedicated to providing high-quality legal support in civil, criminal, administrative, and commercial matters.
Over the years, the Toulouse Bar Association has successfully adapted to changes in society and the legal profession while preserving its core values of independence, dignity, and respect for professional confidentiality. It is recognized for the diversity of its expertise and the specialization of its members, enabling it to meet the varied needs of individuals, businesses, and local and international institutions.
The Bar Association is also highly active in the public and social life of Toulouse, regularly taking part in events, free legal consultations, and initiatives aimed at raising awareness of citizenship and fundamental rights. These actions help bring the public closer to the legal world and promote access to justice for all, reinforcing the Bar Association’s role as a key player in justice and fairness throughout the region.
Project brief and background
The Toulouse Bar Association’s website is designed for both the general public, providing easy access to essential legal information, and for lawyers, supporting them in their day-to-day professional activities. The objective was to create an intuitive user experience and a well-structured content architecture, ensuring simple and efficient access for all users.
The mobile application, designed specifically for lawyers, was developed to complement and enhance the range of services offered through the website.
The project in a few words...
The Toulouse Bar Association’s website was developed using Drupal, the leading open-source CMS for multi-content management. Used by major editorial websites, Drupal provides outstanding flexibility through its integration with the Symfony framework, enabling the development of tailor-made features. Its Twig templating engine facilitates the creation of custom themes and the integration of modern technologies such as ReactJS. The platform’s user account and access rights management system is particularly well suited to the Bar Association’s requirements.
Website analytics are powered by Matomo, ensuring both GDPR compliance and detailed insights into user behavior. In addition, the integration of the Solr search engine provides fast indexing and highly relevant search results, significantly improving the browsing experience.
The mobile application was developed with React Native, delivering a seamless user experience across both Android and iOS from a single codebase. Content is synchronized through Drupal’s REST API, while secure authentication is handled using JWT. This architecture centralizes user and content management within the Drupal back office, ensuring efficient administration across both platforms.

For the Toulouse Bar Association, we worked in collaboration with YANA.digital, our product design partner. Our mission was to support the client throughout both projects by providing technical guidance and developing the digital solutions envisioned during the scoping and design phases.
